    Description

"How The War Caused Unemployment", a 4 page publication from the Women's International League For Peace & Freedom, published in 1919 blaming World War I for un-employment in the United States.  This is an anti-war publication intending to show how war destroys the peace by causing unemployment.  The Women's League got it wrong, and the country was about to embark on a period still remembered as the "roaring 20's".  The returning soldiers were ready to work, to marry, to start families, and to buy homes leading to one of the greatest periods of prosperity in US history.  An interesting publication, 4 pages, approximately 6" x 9 1/4" folded.
