    Jimmy Carter
    declared April 22, 1980 as
    EARTH DAY.  The ten year
    anniversary of the original
    Earth Day commemorated
    the National Environmental
    Policy Act (NEPA) and
    rededicated the United States of America to the
    original goals of the First Earth Day.  This button
    was one of many used by dozens of environmental
    groups to publicize and commemorate this occasion.
    This button was designed and produced by
    Larry Fox, "The Button Man" (Member: A.P.I.C.)
    and used extensively at Save the Earth Demonstrations,
    Alternative Energy events,
