    The first
    "Make Love Not War"
    buttons were made and distributed
    at the March 1965 Mother's Day
    Peace March.  Many people claim
    to have "invented" the slogan.  Fox
    Buttons was one of the first to offer
    buttons with the slogan. Ours was designed
    with a heart. It has proven
    to be one of the
    most popular anti-war pins. Since the 1960's,
    this pin has been and still is very popular. This is an original button
    that was manufactured in the middle of the 1960's.
    The button is in mint condition with no
    damage, rust or discoloration.
