PATCO
The
Solidarity Day
marches were a
pair of large political rallies, in support
of organized labor, that took place in
Washington, DC on September 19, 1981
and August 31, 1991. Nearly 500,000 people
took part in each march. These actions
followed the
PATCO
strike and the resultant
firing of 11,345 PATCO
Union
workers
by President Reagan. This support button was made for and worn at the march.
