This pin was issued and sold circa 1969 - 1970 to raise funds and support for the release of the so called "Buffalo 153", imprisoned for draft resistance in opposition to thge war in Viet Nam. The pin reads
AMNESTY  FREE THE BUFFALO 153   TRY THE REAL CRIMINALS
The "real criminals" were those prosecuting the U.S. war against Vietnam, killing thousands of U.S. servicemen and hundreds of thousands of Vietnamese.
